About me: Mansi

Hi, this is Mansi. I grew up in Houston, Texas where the BBQ is beyond bomb and the Tex-Mex unparalleled. My family moved to Orange County a year before I finished high school so I followed them to SoCal after I graduated.

I went to UCLA (Go Bruins!) and finished in June 2013 with a degree in Physiological Science and a minor in English.

I wrote for the Daily Bruin, the student newspaper, for four years while at UCLA. I was an assistant Sports editor there. (If you are really interested....) I love journalism and sports (and chocolate and ice cream) so I'm hoping that this blog gives me an outlet to write to my heart's content.

Medical school has been a wild ride so far. Mind-boggling amounts of information, awkward and nervous patient interactions, classmates who will be lifelong friends....the list goes on. With this blog, I'm looking forward to sharing some of the journey here with y'all.
